BLOG POST 1
For week 1, We had some information and basics about drones in the classroom and we flew the toy drone to get used to the original drone i.e. DJI Drone. 10/8/2020, We went outside with the class to fly the DJI drone. Everyone took a chance one by one to fly the drone. It was fun. We also did the sensor detector thing, where the drone automatically detects the person and runs after it without controlling it. It was a fun time, We got some videos and pictures too. In the end, we took the picture of the class on the drone with Burlington High School. And we went back to the classroom.

Processing is an open-source graphical library and integrated development environment built for the electronic arts, new media art, and visual design communities with the purpose of teaching non-programmers the fundamentals of computer programming in a visual context. In help desk we learnt processing and it was fun trying some new things out. I feel like processing is the thing that everyone should learn because it is creative and it if fun if you learn it. I do believe that writing code and outputting something really interesting is fun.

Amazon Web Services is a cloud computing platform that provides customers with a wide array of cloud services. AWS have cloud provider, including compute, storage, databases, networking, data lakes and analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence, IoT, security, and much more. At the help desk, we learned to make a chatbot. A chatbot is a software application used to conduct an on-line chat conversation via text or text-to-speech. Some examples of chatbots are Alexa and Siri. The advantages of using AWS is that it is secure, it has unlimited server capacity, and it is easy to use.

SEMESTER-2 BEGINS BLOG POST 5
Sphero Edu
My journey of exploring the technology world continues at the help desk. For the first two weeks, we were introduced to new people and what we are going to do this semester. The first thing we were introduced was Sphero, Sphero is a spherical robot capable of rolling around under the control of a smartphone or tablet (As shown in the image). We installed the Sphero Edu app on our devices and we can control it by code and by diagonal (You can download it here - link is inserted below). We made codes to draw patterns and the patterns were performed by Sphero and also seen in the app. Sphero helps us to get knowledge of coding and it gives us a basic idea of how coding is. We also saw many different codes online and we were amazed by how creative they are. It was a great experience learning a new thing.

This week we encountered What is AI? What are the advantages and disadvantages of it? Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think like humans and mimic their actions. The term may also be applied to any machine that exhibits traits associated with a human mind such as learning and problem-solving. We got to know that it is both beneficial and harmful if not used carefully. The future of AI is unpredictable. We watched some documentaries and discussed that. We also saw Coded Bias. It was on the student who discovered racial bias in facial recognition algorithms. And it changed the way we say AI. There were many things we saw and we learned from them. It was both fun and concerning.
